Story Fragrance Library made it's home on Broughton Street in Savannah, Georgia for many years. We were a destination for bachelorette parties that came from all over to make their wedding day perfumes, colognes and candles. Our owner, Tracy, is an expert in the fragrance world. She created a brand that was featured in Bloomingdales, Macy's and thousands of stores across the country and has done work for many companies formulating fragrance and bath products. After visiting Perfumeries in Italy and Cuba, Tracy wanted to bring a fragrance experience to the US that would provide education on the perfume making process along with an experience that was fun and memorable. She did just that!! Story Fragrance is often booked a year in advance on some weekends and on many weekends there is a waiting list. While in Savannah, we had many requests to travel to Nashville and New York for custom perfume making experiences that we tried to fit into our schedule and Nashville had been on our minds for close to two years. With no plans of ever leaving our Savannah location the unimaginable happened. Our entire city block in Savannah was sold in a Federal Bankruptcy auction which voided the lease for every business on our block. We were given 3 days notice to vacate. It was obvious that with 3 days notice we would not be able to find anything in Savannah in such a short amount of time. So we packed up everything and our plans for Nashville were coming together just like it was meant to be. We tried very hard to find a location or another business in Savannah that might take the Story Fragrance Experience and keep it alive and well in Savannah but that didn't work out so we just knew our Story in Savannah was coming to a happy ending and a new Story was to be written in Nashville. For all of you Savannah Bachelorettes, we are so sorry we don't get to meet you unless you change your bachelorette destination to Nashville so you can hang out with us. If Nashville is not in your plans, we do offer a Facetime option for you so we can create your custom perfume with you and ship it to you.
